How to read the chart
Values are ml of product per litre of nutrient solution. Add products one at a time, mixing well after each — VitaSilica always first.

Water and pH
The chart is calibrated for reverse-osmosis (RO) water. After mixing everything, adjust pH to between 5.8 and 6.3, with water temperature at 18–21 °C.
Two EC columns
The EC column is the working range printed on the sheet; the Max EC column is the maximum recommended strength. Both exclude the EC of your own water.
The 10-week schedule
Two weeks of rooting a cutting and four weeks of vegetative growth under 18 hours of light, then four weeks of flowering under 12 hours. VitaBulk replaces VitaBase from the first flowering week. Same doses as the calculator.

The eight products
What each product on the chart does, as printed on the schedule sheet.
Silica
VitaSilica contains the highest quality of silica available SiO4 and has added Potassium to support the uptake of the silica by the plant. Between 0.25 ml and 1 ml can be used and is provided by Vitaponix.
Root
VitaRoot is the key to establishing a strong healthy root system with accelerated growth and more root pathways. The patented technology has been proven to grow through a 7L pot in 2 days.
Base
VitaBase and VitaBulk are specially formulated to strongly reduce the need to flush mid cycle.
Cal
VitaCal increases calcium absorption to strengthen plant cell walls, which improves product shelf-life.
Sweet
VitaSweet is a specifically designed patent for growing with LED lights by significantly increasing chlorophyll production and the utilisation of magnesium and iron.
Bulk
VitaBulk changes the NPK ratio of the plant, steering it towards heavier flowering for denser buds. It is also formulated to strongly reduce the need to flush mid-cycle.
Bud
VitaBud ignites the final phase of flowering due to patented tech that significantly increases the uptake of VitaBulk.
Finish
VitaFinish maximises terpene production in the final weeks of flowering, dramatically increasing the aromatic effect of the plant making it smell and taste better.
Schedule guide
- Discuss day and night temperatures and humidity for your ideal growing conditions with your nearest Vitaponix exclusive verified retail experts.
- Always use a circulation pump in the main tank to keep nutrients well mixed.
- Adjust the final pH of the nutrient solution to 5.8 – 6.3; water temperature 18–21 °C.
- During periods of hot weather, lower the EC. Make up a fresh tank of nutrients every week.
- The EC range reflects EC level excluding your water. Add more Base or Bulk according to the feed guide to reach desired EC level.
- The lower the EC your water has, the more nutrients you are able to add.

Recommended guidelines
- Maintain day and night temperatures between 24–28 °C for ideal growing conditions.
- Raise humidity level around 65–75% for the first 3 weeks then lower to 55–60% for the remainder of the flowering cycle.
- Always use a circulation pump in the main tank to keep nutrients well mixed.
- Adjust the final pH of the nutrient solution to 5.8 – 6.3; water temperature 18–21 °C.
- Total EC is the maximum recommended strength; adjust to match your strain and growing system.
