Vitaponix — nextgen nutrients

Hydroponics fertilizer

Hydroponic nutrients, engineered as a language.

A complete hydroponics fertilizer line: base nutrients, root activators, structural minerals and bloom inputs — eight products that speak one biological language, from cutting to harvest.

Base nutrients first

Every program starts with VitaBase — a chelated, pharmaceutical-grade NPK matrix with no bulking agents. Highly soluble, instantly bioavailable, stable across veg and into bloom.

Built for hydro

Calibrated for RO water, coco and recirculating systems. Mix each part separately, keep pH between 5.8 and 6.2, and let the chelation do the work.

Signaling, not just feeding

Patented biostimulant activators make key minerals mobile inside the plant — so less input does more work, and the crop expresses more of its genetic potential.

Foundation

Base nutrients and root activators that carry the whole crop. VitaBase is the broad-spectrum NPK foundation; VitaRoot and Vita Rooting Dip build the rhizosphere everything else depends on.

Structure

Calcium and silicon — the structural minerals hydroponic plants can't source from soil. Cell walls, stress resilience and the second-messenger signaling behind every defense response.

Bloom

Flowering-phase nutrition: the NPK shift, carbohydrate signaling and reproductive support that decide final density and weight.

Finish

The last two weeks. Terpene and metabolite resolution that lifts aroma, flavour and finished value before harvest.

Bundle

The complete program in one box — every input, trial-sized, with the feed schedule included.

Step-by-step: setting up your hydroponic system

From an empty reservoir to a running system — the same order of operations whether you grow in coco, deep water culture or a recirculating setup.

  1. 1. Start with clean water

Use reverse-osmosis or low-EC tap water. Fill the reservoir and let it reach 20–22 °C before adding anything — cold water shocks roots and slows nutrient uptake.

  2. 2. Add VitaSilica first

Silicon must go in before any other nutrient or it precipitates. Stir well, then wait a minute before the next product.

  3. 3. Add the base nutrient

VitaBase next, one part at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Never pour concentrates directly into each other — always into water.

  4. 4. Add the phase additives

Rooting, veg or bloom products depending on the week — see the week-by-week plan below. Each one goes in separately, with a good stir between products.

  5. 5. Check and set pH

Measure after everything is mixed. Adjust to 5.8–6.2; the chelated formula holds nutrients available across that whole band.

  6. 6. Check EC before plants go in

Around 1.4 EC for young plants, rising gradually toward 2.2 EC at peak flower. If EC reads high, dilute with plain water — never top up with more nutrient.

  7. 7. Run and monitor

Check pH and EC daily. Top up with pH-adjusted water between reservoir changes, and replace the full solution every 7–10 days.

Week-by-week feeding plan

The standard 10-week Vitaponix program: two weeks of rooting, four weeks of vegetative growth and four weeks of flowering. All doses in ml per litre of water.

WeeksPhaseProducts and doses
Week 1RootingVitaBase (half strength) + VitaRoot 1 ml/L
Week 2RootingVitaBase + VitaRoot 2 ml/L + VitaSilica 1 ml/L (VitaSilica continues weekly until harvest)
Weeks 3–6VegetativeVitaBase (rise gradually toward full strength) + VitaSweet 1 ml/L + VitaSilica 1 ml/L. Repeat VitaRoot 2 ml/L at transplant.
Weeks 7–8Early flowerVitaBase + VitaSweet 1 ml/L + VitaSilica 1 ml/L
Weeks 8–10Late flowerVitaBud 1 ml/L for the final three flowering weeks + VitaSilica 1 ml/L
Final 2 weeksFinishVitaFinish replaces VitaCal and VitaSweet for the last two weeks before harvest

How to feed with the Vitaponix line

Start mild, finish clean

Begin at 1.4 EC in early veg and rise gradually to around 2.2 EC in peak flower. VitaFinish replaces VitaCal and VitaSweet in the final two weeks.

Mix in order

VitaSilica always first, then the rest one at a time, mixing well after each. Never combine concentrates undiluted.

Change the solution

Replace the reservoir completely every 7–10 days, even in recirculating systems.

Follow the chart

The full week-by-week ml/L feeding chart covers every product across veg and bloom — print it, pin it, follow it.
